  • ACTOR THERAPY is back in-person, safe, sanitized, and distanced. We’ve instituted new safety precautions and protective procedures during the pandemic —but the effectiveness of our classic training ground will never change.

  • For those outside NYC or unable to attend In-Person classes at this time, ACTOR THERAPY ONLINE is a live-streamed performance class available online, modeled after Actor Therapy’s classic, groundbreaking training program. It’s all the magic of AT ... in the comfort of your own home.

  • Our current faculty includes composer-lyricist and Actor Therapy co-founder Ryan Scott Oliver, director Stephen Sposito, actress Kirsten Wyatt, actor Adam Chanler-Berat, writer Peter Duchan, actress/singer Kamilah Marshall, actress Taylor Iman Jones, actor Telly Leung, actor/composer Heathcliff Saunders, and more. Some faculty may be teaching remote classes only (i.e., via Skype or Zoom). Faculty is subject to change.

  • Classes are held weekly for 5 consecutive weeks and are limited to 5 students (In-Person, to maintain social distancing) or 10 students (Online)

  • New students pay $499 for Online Classes or $699 (including a non-refundable $99 deposit) for In-Person classes.

  • Returning students pay $350 for Online Classes or $425 (including a non-refundable $99 deposit) for In-Person classes.

  • Take your career into your own hands and choose YOUR own personal adventure, while digging into the craft of Acting! This class is a combination of …

    • Scene Study (you can pair with another student to work on material from a play or musical)

    • Monologues (dig into the craft of acting while working a monologue of your choice)

    • Cold Reads and Sides (i.e., prepare for callbacks, etc., and we’ll be your reader/coach)

    • Dream Roles (choose a role and work the material … we can even help you find the role that’s perfect for you).

  • Class is limited to ten students to maximize each individual student’s class time, and is held weekly (online, via Zoom) on Wednesday evenings.

  • Returnees pay a reduced rate of $350.00. New students pay $499.

Have to miss a class within the session you want to enroll in? NO WORRIES, we have additional classes offered each session for just that situation. We’ll get you in and help you schedule a make-up class that works for you!
