AUGUST 2025
Since we opened our doors in 2012, our vision has always been for AT to serve as a vibrant and essential community, facilitating comprehensive, personalized growth for artists as they strive for a long and versatile career. We pride ourselves on being a force for progress in the theatre industry—championing innovation, inclusion, and evolution.
Since our very first class wrapped, we have solicited feedback from every student who walks through our doors to ensure we are fostering a valuable learning experience in a welcoming environment for all. As such, we have been taken aback by some recent, false allegations made against AT and our team. These claims couldn’t be further from the truth.
We are proud of our long-standing track record of professionalism and the safe environment cultivated in our classes. If a student has a concern, we encourage them to raise it with us directly so that it may be addressed through appropriate channels.
Over the past thirteen years, we have had the privilege of supporting thousands of students at every stage of their career to confidently navigate working and living in the thrilling, energizing world of musical theater in New York City. The impact of our work is reflected in the voices of our students, who describe AT as “the right place to start a career," “a supportive environment that allows [students] to break down walls and believe in themselves,” and as a “saving grace” for new actors entering this often daunting realm.
We are grateful for the trust our students place in us, and we look forward to continuing to enrich and nurture musical theatre artists throughout their careers.
